Dr. Roger Saias graduated from Life University School of Chiropractic in Atlanta, GA in March of
1999 and moved to Doylestown,
PA. A native of Northern New
Jersey (exit 172!), he now calls Central Bucks County
his home along with his wife Barrie and his three children: Jared, their
daughter Drew and Jack.
Dr. Saias opened his
practice in October of 1999 in New
Britain and has remained there ever since. His practice consists of all age groups; from
infants to seniors and everyone in-between. He specializes in many techniques ranging from “drop table” technique,
manual adjusting techniques, cranial technique, instrument adjusting, postural
rehabilitation techniques, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Dr. Saias is also well versed in numerous other
techniques that allow him to take care of patients of all ages and all shapes
and sizes without hesitation.
What sets Dr. Saias apart
from some of the other chiropractors in the area is that he specializes in
“pregnancy chiropractic”. This is the care
of the mom-to-be throughout her entire pregnancy. The goal of this type of care is to keep the
patient as comfortable as possible as her body is in constant change. Dr. Saias also specializes in a technique
that deals with a very common complication during pregnancy. This complication is called a breech
pregnancy where the baby is not in an ideal position for delivery. This is one of the reasons why many women
undergo emergency C-sections. Dr. Saias
is highly skilled in delivering the Webster Breech Turning Technique and has an
extremely high success rate where the baby actually turns to the correct birthing
position. It is for this reason that
he receives many patient referrals from local midwives and OBGYN’s.
In addition to helping his
patients achieve a higher level of health and wellness, Dr. Saias helps
countless patients overcome acute and chronic pain syndromes such as:
Repetitive strain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, headaches, upper
and lower extremity problems, numbness and tingling, fibromyalgia, sports
injuries, scoliosis, neck and back pain, disc injuries, whiplash injuries, and
TMJ pain to name a few. Dr. Saias also
has 10 years experience taking care of those injured in work related and
automobile accidents. He understands the
importance of caring for those patients in their time of need as well being
able to effectively communicate with insurance carriers and attorneys to help
make the patient’s experience as stress free as possible.
Since 1999 Dr. Saias has
been volunteering for various groups and charities. He is a chair person for Doylestown Township’s
annual Oktoberfest which is a weekend family event. He is a past board member for Temple Judea
and he is the past president of the Doylestown chapter of Business Network
International. Currently he is the
District 9 President of the Pennsylvania Chiropractor’s Association where he is
helping to make a difference not only at the local level, but has also been to
the Capital to lobby for the greater good of chiropractors statewide. Lastly, Dr. Saias has also recently been
appointed to the Susan Komen / Philadelphia Breast Cancer 3-Day Official
Medical Team for October 2008.
Dr. Saias has been a
featured speaker and presenter for various groups in area. Some of the groups he has spoken to are: State
Farm, Doylestown Township Staff, Anne’s Choice Retirement Village,
Doyle and Groveland Elementary Schools,
Action Karate, Bucks County Resiliency Conference, Doylestown Rotary Club and the
Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy. Some of his topics include: Straighten Up America, Myofascial Release
and Trigger Point Therapy, Ergonomics in the Workplace, Back Pack Safety
America, Whiplash and the Motor Vehicle Accident, and Back Safety in the Workplace. His most recent presentation was to a group
of senior citizens on solutions to managing pain, increasing flexibility
and improving one’s quality of life so as to remain as independent as possible.
Dr. Saias believes it is easier to stay healthy than it is to get healthy. Call or email him to find out how!
